In connection with this year's picnic and in association with Northwest Harvest's "Let's Make Summer a Picnic," Attachmate is hosting a food drive for local families. As the summer months ensue, families with school-aged children face real life struggles: children that enjoyed breakfast and lunch through reduced price meal programs are struggling to make up for those additional meals; cost of childcare increases dramatically as parents try to cover full day childcare, etc.

Collection bins will be set up at Attachmate the week of July 12 and will also be present at the Attachmate picnic on August 7. Please help support Northwest Harvest by donating non-perishable food items during our food drive. Please contact Jennifer Biller with questions.
