The Ms. Foundation for Women launched the Take Our Daughters To Work® Day program in 1993. It began in response to disturbing research about adolescent girls' loss of self confidence and deference to boys in classroom settings. The program has been one of the country's most successful public education campaigns. Over the years, technology and workplace productivity demands have changed life for men and women. In 2003, the Ms. Foundation formally revised the program to focus on all of our children. The broadened focus of the program addresses competing challenges of work and family, and encourages children to achieve their full potential by participating at home, in the workplace, and/or in the community.
Attachmate is proud to host Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work® Day 2004.
The program is geared towards children 8 - 12 years old.
Other ages are welcome to attend at parent/host discretion.
